Took a drive up to the north of the Island to have a look at some of the famous beaches there. Only famous if you're old enough to remember South Pacific (musical) and Donovan's Reef (John Wayne). The mountains in the background are the fictious "Bali Hai" from the South Pacific. We stood on the beach where Mitzi Gaynor (who?) sang "I'm gonna wash that man right outa' my hair" and very lovely it was. Shame there were no toilets (yes, I'm obsessed!).
The girls have a new passion: "Shave Ice". Crushed ice flavoured with anything you like and made to look like a rainbow. Any excuse to shove E numbers down children it seems to me...
